Fugitive Child Pornographer Arrested in Chicago

Ruben Sanchez, a former Bolingbrook, Illinois resident who was wanted for possession and distribution of child pornography and was the subject of a nationwide manhunt since February of 2009, was arrested in Chicago.

Illinois Man Sentenced for Plotting to Bomb Federal Courthouse

Michael C. Finton, aka Talib Islam, a U.S. citizen and resident of Decatur, Illinois, pled guilty to attempting to bomb the federal courthouse in Springfield in September 2009 and was sentenced to serve 28 years in prison.

Gloria Vigil, a 61-year-old nurse practitioner in Albuquerque, New Mexico, pled guilty to conspiracy to distribute oxycodone outside the scope and usual course of professional practice and without a legitimate medical purpose.
